Choosing the right Speech and Language Therapist for your child or your school is so important. Acorn Speech Therapy was set up and is run by Amy Wright. Here is some more information about Amy and the team to help guide your decision-making:

• Amy is a highly experienced specialist speech and language therapist based in Sheffield.

• Having worked in schools, specialist schools, nurseries and NHS settings, Amy and the other therapists have a wide range of experiences to draw upon to facilitate working with children.

• Amy and the team have a wealth of experience of working with children with a range of Neurodiversities, including Autism and coexisting differences, Developmental Language Disorder (DLD), selective mutism, and language and speech differences.

• Amy is also an accomplished trainer, clinical supervisor and research facilitator in Speech and Language Therapy.

• We are passionate about supporting families to enable their children to reach their optimum potential and have a voice.

• Several of the team are Parents themselves, an as such are aware of and sensitive to the challenges and concerns that having children can bring.
